Shuttle Blow Molding Machines for technical Parts and Packaging Containers of up to 30 Liters Capacity (KEB)

Following the demands of the marketplace, Kautex Maschinenbau has consistently improved its globally successful KEB series machines.

These blow molders are used for technical parts and for demanding packaging applications such as bottles or canisters with handles, excentric and/or angled necks, multilayer structure and view stripes. Kautex Maschinenbau thus provides a suitable shuttle blow molding machine for many different requirement.

The in-line shuttle machines of the KEB series feature a narrow footprint with a horizontal, scissor-type, tiebarless clamping system. The mold parting line is parallel to the extruder axis. A transfer mask attached to the mold transfers the blown articles from the blowing station to the deflashing station in perfect orientation. After deflashing, the articles are discharged at the front of the machine via a guiding system, which can be adjusted to the articles without requiring additional tools.

Through standardization and focus on a specific range of heads, extruders and other options, the KEB series machines meet the requirements of a cost-efficient production of technical parts and packaging containers.

The machines come with standard equipment and features as demanded by the marketplace. Angular and bottom calibration devices, thread unscrewing devices, wide-neck rotary cutters etc. are available as options.

Shuttle Blow Molding Machines for technical Parts and Packaging Containers of up to 30 Liters Capacity (KCC)

The standard KCC packaging series comprises of the KCC10, KCC20 and KCC30 singleclamp models and the double-clamp models KCC10-D and KCC20-D with up to two times ten cavities.

The machines are based on designs by Kautex Maschinenbau, Germany, and are ideal for bottles and containers of up to 30 liters capacity and simple technical parts. The larger KCC30 model can also be used to produce 20-liter PC water bottles.

Manufactured to CE certification and ANSI compliance, allows these machines to be installed worldwide. The hydraulic clamping unit shuttles perpendicular to the extruder axis, so that articles are discharged laterally. Automatic deflashing stations can be installed next to the easily accessible clamping units.

Long-Stroke Shuttle Blow Molding Machines for technical Parts and Packaging Containers of up to 30 Liters Capacity (KLS)

The KLS series long-stroke blow molding machines are the result of a customer and market driven continuous development of tried and tested WMB, FMB and BP series long-stroke machines that have proven their reliability and efficiency worldwide since 1991.

The machines are used for demanding packaging applications such as bottles and canisters with handle and/or angled neck, in multilayer or coex configuration or with view stripe, as well as for industrial products. Thus, Kautex offers a range of high output long-stroke machines for every requirement.

The KLS series product line includes the flexible models KLS 6-100, 8-100, 10-100, 12-100 and 14-100. (The KLS 14-100, for instance, is designed for a 14-cavity production of bottles with 100 mm center distance.)

With the additional models KLS 30 and 60, Kautex Maschinenbau offers dedicated canister machines (a KLS 30D would be capable of producing stackable 20, 25 and 30 liter canisters 2-fold in each of its two clamps). All KLS models are available as single and double clamp machines.

The low-profile clamping units shuttle perpendicular to the extruder axis on linear bearings providing critical support below each clamp platen. Large gates allow unobstructed access to the entire clamp area. KLS series machines have a small footprint due to the integration of the hydraulic system and of the electrical cabinet into the machine frame. They offer flexibility with respect to the discharge of blown articles.

Standard set-up mode operation and quick set-up features in conjunction with optional scales for repeatable manual adjustments of machine functions simplify product changeover and start of production.
