New KBB jerry can machine at K 2016
From October 19-26, 2016 the international plastics industry meets at the K in Düsseldorf in order to find out about the latest developments in plastic processing. As is tradition, Kautex Maschinenbau will again be there in Hall 14. As a trade fair highlight, the expert audience will have the opportunity at stand A 16/18 to see an all-electric jerry can machine in action.
Just in time for K 2016, Kautex Maschinenbau has expanded the program of its successful KBB series. On the 430 square meter booth, he company will present its first all-electric jerry can machine. The new models KBB200 and KBB400 were specifically developed for the production of stackable jerry cans. The exhibited KBB400S is manufactured for the AST Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH. It comes with a three layer head for the economical ReCo- procedure and downstream equipment including leak testing, scales, and spot watcher. Like the KBB bottle machine previously exhibited at K 2013, the jerry can models set a new speed and efficiency benchmark.
New generation of virtual machines
After the great success of its first virtual machines, Kautex Maschinenbau now presents its second, modular generation in Düsseldorf. The new machines can now be equipped with different control systems. Virtual machines make it possible to perform simulation-based training which saves the high costs for materials and machine operation. It also ends the risk of damage to real extrusion blow molding machines. In parallel to the trade fair, Kautex will have another Open House in 2016. This year, the format and schedule will be different.
