The Augmented Service expands on the existing Remote Service available from Kautex and makes this even more efficient. Service technicians will not have to travel so often and thus have improved availability and are easier to reach. Kautex customers will benefit from reduced service costs, shorter maintenance times and more efficient troubleshooting support.

Once connected, the Kautex customer service operative has a direct overview of the situation at the machine via the smart glasses or the smartphone camera. He sees what the customer sees and can therefore provide on-site personnel with optimal support and guidance to help them analyze and solve problems. The necessary data and information can be displayed directly in the smart glasses. Misunderstandings and operator errors are greatly reduced thanks to direct visual contact.
Remote maintenance via secure SSL connection
Customers can order software and smart glasses directly from Kautex and install them on their own devices. The software for this service with smart glasses needs to be installed on a computer. Alternatively, instead of smart glasses, you can also use the service via smartphone with an Android operating system. The corresponding app is available from Kautex. The data exchange takes place via a secure, TÜV-certified SSL connection provided by the customer. In this way, all customer data security precautions remain unchanged with this type of remote maintenance.
