Our machinery and systems are available for both in-house R&D projects and external customer services. At our site in Germany, we offer extensive material testing, prototyping, and hands-on collaboration. The Kautex Technology Center is a state-of-the-art facility for extrusion blow molding and plastics processing. With its comprehensive technical equipment, it provides the ideal infrastructure for product development, material testing, and process optimization – for both internal R&D and customer-driven projects.
Our Technology Center features the latest blow molding machines for consumer packaging, industrial packaging, automotive, and specialty applications. Permanent extruder test benches enable independent material trials and process evaluations – perfect for developing new plastic products efficiently.
The integrated Technology Center laboratory is equipped for a wide range of material and product tests, including top load testing, drop testing, microtomography, and melt flow index measurement. These tests ensure precise, data-driven assessments of product performance and material suitability.
Using advanced 3D CAD-based simulations, we design and test products virtually – accurately and cost-effectively. These simulations realistically represent processes and product behavior, allowing early-stage evaluations and uncovering optimization potential before physical trials even begin.
Quick and reliable mold validation is critical for cost-effective product development. In our Technology Center, we produce prototypes based on your actual production mold – often within 48 hours. These samples are visually and functionally identical to the final product and can be tested under real-life production conditions.
