Furniture
Where Form meets Function.
Furniture
From foldable tables to stackable chairs, modern furniture components need to be strong, lightweight, durable, and cost-effective. Especially when it comes to large plastic parts like tabletops or seat shells, traditional manufacturing methods such as injection molding often reach their technical and economic limits.
Extrusion blow molding unlocks new potential: With Kautex technology, large, flat parts with excellent rigidity and optimized material use can be produced in a single cycle. Functional elements like structural ribs, handles, or surface textures are formed directly into the part — with no secondary operations needed.
A prime example is the production of blow-molded foldable tabletops used in outdoor or event settings: UV-resistant, stackable, strong — and a fraction of the weight compared to conventional models. Seat bases and backrests can also be created with ergonomic shapes and controlled wall thickness.
Your Benefits with Kautex
Your Benefits with Kautex Furniture Production Solutions for innovative, durable and sustainable Plastic Components.
Big parts without compromising durability. Our process enables the production of lightweight, large-format components that combine reduced material usage with outstanding mechanical strength.
Handles, ribs, and logos included. Design flexibility allows integrated functions like handles, reinforcement ribs, and even custom logos — eliminating extra steps and costs in production.
Less waste, no added assembly. Fast, stable processes minimize material waste and remove the need for post-assembly, delivering efficiency and cost savings in every cycle.
Resistant, stackable, and scalable. Using UV- and weather-resistant materials, parts are built for both indoor and outdoor use. Stackable designs make them versatile and ideal for scalable production setups.
