FAQ dual student or apprentice
When can I apply?
Our apprenticeship positions are usually posted about a year before the start date. As long as the position is online, applications are welcome.
What qualifications do I need for an apprenticeship or dual study program?
For apprenticeships, a good secondary school diploma is typically sufficient. For dual studies, you’ll need a general or subject-specific university entrance qualification.
How does the dual study program work?
You alternate between academic semesters at university and hands-on work phases at Kautex — gaining practical experience on real projects.
Will I get support during school or university?
Absolutely! We offer learning time, exam prep, internal training, and personal support from dedicated trainers and mentors.
How much will I earn during my training or studies?
Your salary follows the IGBCE collective agreement – fair, transparent, and including extras like vacation pay.
What are my chances of being hired afterward?
Very good! If you show dedication and potential, we’re happy to offer permanent employment after graduation — we invest in our future.
