Operational Standards:

• Develop and establish product quality standard for a sustainable business of Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH •
• Responsible for site Bonn, with regular presence in the shop floor, with focus on SQA, incoming goods inspection, manufacturing quality, and product claim management
• Agrees on budget plans for the functions assigned to him/her, sets corresponding goals, and monitors their achievement in KPIs and other performance management tools
• Develop the global product quality partnership with intercompany and external partners

Product Quality Assurance:

• Development of processes, methods and competencies for sustainable quality improvement and quality assurance in the complete customer to customer process
• Collaboration in process, methods, and competencies improvement of the sub-process of order management process, to ensure the improvement of the product quality assurance
• Develop a quality assurance and its documentation
• Quality cost optimization, by implementing the quality control standard
• Connecting the supplier product quality standard, Kautex Standard to fulfill the customer quality requirement
• Collaboration with the Lean management team in the improvement of product quality standard

Optimization & Innovation:

• Continuous improvement of assembly structures & processes in terms of cost, lead time & quality
• Analysis of the quality challenge as well as failures on field (customer) and the corresponding initiation of corrective action
• Root-cause analysis and implementation of preventive action
• Implementation of lesson learned in all relevant process & follow up of the implementation status
• Organizing internal & external audit, in collaboration with relevant processes /departments

Product Claim management:

• Investigation of the root cause for customer product claim
• Collaboration with the service (after sales) team to provide ad-hoc solution for the customer
• Root cause analysis for the customer product claim, to allocate and distribute the cost and improvement request to the source of the problem
• Implementation of lesson learned from customer product claim as preventive maintenance

• Successful engineering study, preferably in mechanical engineering, production technology or mechatronics with at least 3 years working experience in similar position
• Experience in Blow Molding technology is big plus
• Deep knowledge in Quality methods
• Knowledge in Lean manufacturing system
• Ideally experience as an internal/external auditor
• Ability to provide a clear framework for performance to the direct reports
• Very good knowledge in quality management system
• Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset

• Independent und well-structured way of working & strong hands-on mentality
• Leadership skills including the ability to develop leaders and initiate and stabilize change processes
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills paired with assertiveness
